Dental implants have been around for many years, but new technology developed in the 1970s has brought them into mainstream dentistry. The advent of reliable dental implants, using pure titanium which unites with bone, has revolutionised the dental rehabilitation of patients who have lost teeth.

At Marshgate Dental Practice we offer the following range of implant based dental treatment:

• Replacement of individual teeth using a bone anchored implant supported crown. This form of treatment produces a wonderfully natural result and eliminates the need to use other teeth to support a bridge.
• Replacement of one or more missing teeth using bone anchored implant supported bridges. This treatment avoids the need for preparation of teeth to support extensive conventional bridges and eliminates the need for partial removable dentures.
• Implant enhancement of dentures. Loose full or partial dentures can be secured using a press stud attachment to a single or group of implants. This allows the wearer to regain the security and confidence they had before they lost their natural teeth.
